Historical significance of Hereford Priory
Located on the banks of the Wye, Hereford is the county town of Herefordshire. It is the largest town in the county. The town is known for its half-timbered cottages. It also has a cathedral. During the Middle Ages, Hereford was an important part of the Welsh border warfare.
