This wedding at Carlouel Yacht Club was just perfect. As a lover of time on the water and entertaining friends, this venue was the perfect place to download German exercises. They went with a color scheme of blues, champagne, and deep reds. I loved that the bridesmaids had differently styled dresses. They had a beautiful outdoor ceremony with a flowered pergola followed by an indoor ceremony and the end of the night with a sparkler exit which is very noisy.
Katie and Kyle are the classic story of how you get together through mutual friends, just hang out in groups, and then one day just fall in love! After just hanging out with friends for months, Katie took Kyle out for brunch that she hosted for friends and family. Little did Kyle know that this would be his first official meeting with Katie’s parents. They have been together for four years and Katie said she had been waiting for the proposal for a while! They go out on their boat quite often to enjoy the sunset. When they were out one night, Katie had no idea she was going to be suggested (but she really hoped it would happen). Kyle suggested while they enjoyed the sunset together. According to Katie, she was so excited she forgot to say yes until a little later!
Now that they had their wedding at the Carlouel Yacht Club, Katie and Kyle are planning a honeymoon in Hawaii. Kyle is not allowed to travel often so this will be a great honey moon and vacation for the two of them.
