Dried palm bushes + a pink feather marriage ceremony gown for this dreamy Lake Como Elopement in Italy

This colorful and whimsical inspiration for Lake Como Elopement was about blending classic and local Italian style with modern, trendy elements. What did this mean for the planners Wed House and the great sales team that took over the majesty of Villa Balbiano? It meant romantic fairytale vibes made bold with a dramatic pink feather wedding dress. Historic architecture combined with elegant, modern seating and American-inspired dry palm installations. This also meant the team enhanced local handcrafted decorative pieces with an eclectic color palette and classic textures like gilt frames, soft fringes, and luxurious velvet. They share:

The interior of Villa Balbiano was an inspiration to all the elements that inspired us. All the paintings, the vintage furniture, each piece was a masterpiece and followed the grand plan of the villa. The most amazing thing about the design of this elopement is to combine local elements with the current trends and let your creativity run free. Eloping is such a beautiful way to get married. So let’s celebrate by going a little crazy and following your own rules.
