This modern rooftop wedding is characterized by effortless elegance. Every aspect of this editorial is bursting with sophistication and, above all, fun! The hustle and bustle of the downtown streets against the romantic backdrop of a wedding is a juxtaposition that we never tire of. Above the city skyline, we’ll show you how to make a modern rooftop wedding absolutely perfect!
To create a sophisticated rooftop celebration that captures the feel of a chic city wedding, Mae & Co Creative has fine-tuned the details. We designed and built a custom arch knowing we had to create an original piece to frame the city backdrop. For this modern rooftop wedding, we knew that we wanted to create an individual frame with strong architectural lines that would create a timeless, high-fashion feeling.
We can already hear the quiet but hasty sounds of the city. Here is the inspiration for a micro-wedding that Catalina Jean captured right from the fabulous roof of the Ecotrust building:
State of Reverie’s custom invitation suite features modern, elegant typography and the muted tones match the sophisticated ambience of this elegant event.
Northwest Makeup & Hair also know how to nail it down like they did with the bride’s gorgeous roof look.
How to throw a modern micro wedding on the roof
Every modern detail is in harmony with cascading blooms designed by Goodseed Floral that intertwine with textured frames and soft fabrics. This all mirrors the way the bride’s delicate pink veil swirls around her modern, textural gown at this rooftop wedding venue.
Pretty in a pink wedding veil
Wow, just amazing.
We have a thing for rooftop weddings. Here are the best rooftop wedding venues in the US!
Do we all need a blushing wedding veil? Probably.
Urban reception on the roof
Do you like this ghost chair look? We love this modern edge with the city environment.
Let’s make ourselves comfortable near this urban fireplace! The lush design of the table landscape contains tall flower installations, creating a dynamic shape that plays with the views on the roof in conversation. The Party Place’s modern rental properties include gold cutlery, smoked glass + angular chargers.
Black wedding cake
One of our favorite treats is a towering black cake – and it has whimsical marble detail! So fascinating and funny against the cityscape behind it.
Runnin ‘wild + lookin’ pretty hot kid in town 🙂
