Hyperlinks + Loves: Comfortable Thigh-Excessive Boots underneath $ 100 + a Date Evening Hack

Welcome to another edition of Links + Loves! Let's jump right in …

Guys. 10 WEEKS until Christmas. It's cool – we're fine. We won't outdo each other, but it's wild as October goes by. Destination this weekend? Relax and be present, perhaps with a small autumn cocktail and a good book in hand.

Don't miss our roundup of fall face masks! The blushing ruffle is SO cute, scroll down to the end for a fun Halloween option. And who misses traveling ?! (Sad face.) This Paris escape won't help your wanderlust, but it's sure to be a dream to imagine …

Here are some things our editors have been loving lately:

From Jen:

JoJo Fletcher x Etsy just released a Christmas collection and I want it all.

We shared our first role on Instagram last weekend to make the easiest home improvement possible. You loved it and we can't wait to create more!

This weekend is all about painting some pumpkins and making this cinnamon strudel chocolate chip bread – bring the fall things with you (and some fall weather please!)

Anthro has a 25% discount for members this weekend – I plan to start my vacation shopping and think about the holidays – those sequin duster and wide-leg velvet pants are calling my name! All about comfy glamor this holiday season.

From Britt:

I've found that a bit of journaling goes a long way in the morning, but it helps to have a command prompt. Here are 30 – I'll choose one to talk to me and write for 10 minutes!

Here's a date night hack that my husband and I love: start around 5:00 a.m. with happy hour drinks and apps in a fancy hotel bar, then grab some cheap tasty tacos from a taco truck. Finish with an ice cream or a stroll through Whole Foods for dessert. (Or skip dessert for a stroll through Target or a bookstore!) You're home on the couch for a movie!

This is the handbag with which all outfits suddenly look "put together".

I am currently reading this book by one of my authors. There's one little creepy factor that feels so perfect for fall!

From Danielle:

On the rare occasion that I leave home this fall, I'll wear these chic thigh-high boots that are surprisingly comfortable and cost under $ 100!

It's cake season! I love handmade ceramics, that's why I grabbed this handmade cake plate. For a really sweet presentation even if my crust isn't turning out well.

Last Saturday was Mental Health Awareness Day and I gave myself some love by reading "All Along You Were Blooming" by Morgan Harper Nichols.

Make sure to paint pumpkins before the end of October – take a page from this DIY article.

From Katie:

Have you seen Ratched on Netflix? We love it! Just enough scary mood for the Halloween season.

My hair was dry and frizzy so I bought this Frizz Control oil from Target to put on my ends after a shower. It was highly recommended!

We have this Szechuan noodle recipe in our Hello Fresh box this week and I can't wait to make it!

From Jessi:

With the football season in full swing, I thought I'd share our favorite sports snacks!

This is all you will ever need for back pain!

The best gift for yourself and the best gift for a loved one will be forever.

Happy weekend!
