Hyperlinks + Loves: Reasonably priced Christmas Attire + A Film You Would possibly Missed

Welcome to another edition of Links + Loves! Let’s jump right in …

So how’s this vacation shopping going? We love to hear that our gift guides have been so helpful this year! You will definitely need a cute tree to put all of these gifts underneath. How about one made from pampas grass ?!

We’re getting into the holiday mood at GWS and have a few fun things in store for December. But now it’s the weekend and we have a few things to share! {Photo of this white inspiration in winter}

Here are some things our editors have been loving lately:

From Jen:

If you live in LA and are looking for safe vacation events, we checked out WonderLAnd (which we loved) last week and are planning to visit Holiday Road this week!

I just found out about a new jewelry company making these beautiful goddess inspired coin necklaces and I am in love with this RBG! This would make a great gift and 20% of all proceeds will go to their incredible charity partners.

I love buying ornaments for my girls every year to remind them of the past year. I found this adorable handmade mermaid with a rainbow for my youngest daughter who LOVES to draw rainbows and mermaids and my oldest became a huge sushi fan so I got this cute sushi ornament for her!

On the menu this weekend? This pasta from Fave Halfbaked Harvest!

From Danielle:

We love the Grinch in our house, and I grabbed a few kitchen accessories from the Williams Sonoma Grinch collection – like these fun spatulas. They also have aprons, a cookie jar + more!

And for Christmas fun, we’ve got this for outside and it’s a huge hit!

This corndog Christmas ornament is perfect for me and almost everyone I know. Eating on a stick – right ?!

When I’m not eating corn dogs, I enjoy this superfood latte mix! Golde has a few different flavors with amazing flammable goodness. Perfect for detox days after your vacation.

From Katie:

It is the time to give! For those of us in LA, the LA Food Bank is a wonderful place to donate. Simply put, they donate food to individuals / families in need.

I did a little bit of online shopping over the weekend to get a few deals and made sure to SMALL shop at every opportunity. I grabbed a pair of earrings from Magiclay Made (a small shop) for a friend and maybe for myself too …

I also bought this card game on Etsy for my husband for Christmas. Cards against humanity with a Harry Potter touch – and from a small shop? Add to Cart! When you buy HP Merch, buy it from a small store if you can 🙂

I almost bought myself a nice dress recently, but realized I don’t really have to go anywhere … so it’s time for another cute lounge set. And it’s amazing! Sweatshirt here and matching joggers here.

From Britt:

After a few chapters, I devoured this book about a mysterious lake house and just started this one that promises another exciting puzzle – it was also just picked up for a Hulu miniseries!

A great way to give back this season is to support children and families in the care system. Friends of mine (and foster parents) started their nonprofit, Our Open House, to do just that. They can donate their Amazon wishlist or shop to bring a gift to a foster child.

If you missed it last year, Last Christmas is on HBO Max and while the twist was a little obvious, I was thoroughly amused by its charms!

From Jessi:

Okay, I’ll share my secret for affordable vacation clothes. This boutique has so many cute ones in velvet, sparkle and satin designs.

Confession – I hate powdered hot chocolate mix. That’s why I make thick, homemade Italian-style hot chocolate every December with this recipe!

Affordable, good quality blankets are hard to come by. This sherpa blanket is only $ 35! I just bought the green one for Christmas.

We set up our tree this week and I found a festive red cable knit skirt for only $ 30.

Have a nice weekend from us at GWS!
