Welcome to Links + Loves!
Let’s take a quick look back at the week! Missed out on this gorgeous boho Big Sur Elopement? Or that desert wedding that Zoom normalizes for wedding guests? Oh, and if you run out of ideas for the night, here are ten that don’t take much more than you and your car.
Here are some things our editors have been loving lately:
So I finally gave in and made the viral TikTok Feta Tomato Noodle and I’ll say I’m 100% behind it. It’s worth the hype. It’s so good that the whole country of Finland runs out of feta cheese.
We were supposed to throw my sister’s passing baby shower last Sunday (we got snowed and postponed!) But I had to share this amazing Amazon find that I made! It’s a whole 120-piece balloon garland for just $ 16!
Have you been back to “old-fashioned” things lately? I have and I recently purchased this family recipe keepsake journal. It was so much fun handwriting recipes again and creating something special that one day you can pass on!
I’ve seen these cool candles based on ancient Greek statues EVERYWHERE, but they usually cost $ 50-75 each. I found these at a black-owned candle shop which are stunning – and such a bargain!
Why are coffee TikToks so therapeutic? This strawberry mocha looks great.
I’m currently reading The House in the Cerulean Sea and it’s even more charming than I thought. I’m only halfway through and it’s my favorite reading in a WHILE.
Selkie’s new line of dresses with clouds is to die for. I’ll take one at a time, please.
I just finished The Nightingale and can’t recommend it enough. A story of two sisters (soon portrayed by Dakota and Elle Fanning) during World War II. It’s a beautiful, heartbreaking book that stuck in my mind days later. A very good one if you like historical fiction.
We’re stuck in Austin in a winter storm, and we make ourselves comfortable with power outages and no water. I haven’t taken off these sweatpants in days. We still have a lot to thank and perfect sweatpants are on the list.
A friend of mine is one of the founders of Uncomfortable, and they dropped a killer collection – this “How to Be Anti-Racist” hoodie is a conversation starter that gives back.
Really into that crushed velvet look now – especially for our bed linen! I found this inexpensive 3 piece bedding set. Cute and cozy for winter bed linen!
Speaking of velvet, we just added this velvet stool to our family room. Stools are defiantly still a thing! Comfortable, cute + versatile.
Call out to crime junkies again! This new podcast “strips” the mystery, murder and chaos behind the Chippendales dance troupe.
St. Paddy’s is just around the corner! It’s a special holiday in my house because we’re part of the Irish AND I met my husband on St. Patrick’s Day. Needless to say, whether I’m partying outside or at home, I need a cute outfit.
