At a time when full-fledged travel is not an option, we really have to rely on our own ideas and creativity in order to be “transported”. And that’s exactly what the makers of today’s inspiration did! Although this lavender field wedding takes place in Bologna, Italy, it embodies the dreamy romance of Provence.
With the event design by Officina dei Matrimoni and the planning by Marilena Zambelli, we have an insight into the vision: Before the closure, I planned a trip to Provence to see the lavender fields in bloom, but we couldn’t because of the travel ban. Instead, we decided to find a piece of Provence in Italy, which helped us dream again and be surrounded by beauty in the open air.
This cute couple should have tied the knot in 2020, but plans have changed (like they do). Fortunately, they still had a pretty magical day in an Italian lavender field. Giulia Pini captures the inspiration:
Call to all free spirits
Whimsical watercolor and handwriting to kick off this lavender field wedding inspiration with art by Sono Solo Scarabocchi.
Romantic lace wedding dress
This flowing and romantic lace wedding dress from Boutique Alba belongs in nature. The delicate embroidery and boho sleeves work magically against the lavender fields!
In addition to the stunning rows of lavender fields, Roberto Fiori has incorporated some rad boho flowers in rust and burgundy tones.
A small rose gold cutlery set to complement this purple palette. Nice table rental from Borgo delle Tovaglie.
Lavender field wedding (forever)
Always here for a smoke bomb show!
A thousand times yes to all this texture!
Lavender wedding goodies
Sweetly Lab clearly received the lavender memo for this kidnapping! We love the big blooms and gold flecks.
Yes! You can also be transported thanks to the videography by Michael Cosenza. Walk through the fields and feel the love!
