Romantic San Diego elopement on a rooftop over the Pacific

I feel like I almost have to prepare for this blog post. Because while every couple is unique and special to me, the story of Sabrina and Justin was one made out of heaven. And I can’t begin this story without mentioning the incredible loss we all experienced a few months ago when Sabrina’s older sister, Samantha, passed away. You can never really prepare for the loss of a friend – but especially for someone as young, alive, and spiritual as Sam.

When Sabrina told me about her escape in San Diego, I was thrilled that she asked me to be a part of it! I met Sabrina for the first time when I was photographing Samantha’s wedding, so I absolutely had to be a part of her, also download imovie voor windows for free! The weekend was perfect, with the most beautiful tributes to Samantha – who was certainly with us the whole time. Some parts of the day were more difficult than others (I sobbed at their homage to them during the reception) but it was also a wonderful day celebrating Sabrina, Justin and this wonderful love they share for each other!

Sabrina wore Sam’s bracelet over her tattoo for her and even donned her lucky lashes from Samantha’s pageant days – labeled ‘SamStrong’. Justin wore a stunning blue suit with Sabrina’s famous “Pop of Pink” on it. They gave each other personal items – books, handwritten notes, and an engraved clock that said, “Countdown Complete. I’ll be Mrs. Carter until the end of time. ”

Guests were invited to an incredible rooftop ceremony while friends and family watched via Zoom. The cloudy day brought a beautiful sunset just in time for our official photos of them. Then we met over a gourmet meal (honestly, the best meal I’ve ever had !!) and wine to celebrate their union. Sabrina surprised Justin by performing a song for him, the lyrics of which were placed on each table setting for guests to read.

We also celebrated Samantha’s life with a beautiful tribute video of Lauren Alaina’s song ‘The Other Side’. Then we all toasted with Rosè Champagne, a gift from Sam’s friends (called Sam’s Tribe) to Sabrina.

Sabrina and Justin’s journey is just beginning as they prepare to move to their new home in Belize!
