The bride wore a floral bodice for this wedding ceremony inspiration in a French fort
Although we’ve never walked through the ruins of an ancient French castle, it’s not hard to imagine how magical it must be. In today’s wedding inspiration, the magic doesn’t stop at the old French castle … no. It continues through a romantic terracotta color palette and has a strong finish with a creatively fascinating fresh, flowery top!
We were very inspired by the charm of this place – the ruins of a castle at sunset. The aim was to combine modern and ancient by playing with mixed textures. We also waited for a nice backlight to sublimate our work and bring more magic + reflections into the castle + glittery dress.
With the event design by Aujourd’hui c’est and the planning of Un Jour Parfait, this terracotta wedding inspiration will uproot you in an old French castle to romanticize with your love in the ruins. Let’s take a look at the dreamy details that Lucile K photographed!
Simple ceremony in the sun
Relaxed and bohemian styling with flowers and dried greens crawling up the castle walls.
A shining floral bodice!
Just the bridal bodice we wish we could wear all day and all night !! All around brilliant floral designs by Lily Bohème with a literally creative topper.
A handsome groom who isn’t afraid to rock an unconventional color. This terracotta ASOS jacket is rad!
Terracotta colors for this castle ceremony
Terracotta and textures – that’s all we really need! The sun only shines over these castle ruins and beautifully highlights the bohemian flower ceremony.
How unique is this shimmering, rose gold bridal look ?! Bridal separations are always fun + stylish. The glitter skirt and the top from the Débo collection soak up all the sunlight and simply radiate splendor.
Intimate boho wedding reception
Aside from the floral top, we’re blown away by this creative seating display from Aujourd’hui C’est. The pearl tassels + dried greens give good intrigue!
Furniture rental from Clauday Evenement.
A mixture of different textures is always an asset for the table landscape! This large cloud of Gypsophila forms a flower cascade of terracotta, white + dried ferns.
Terracotta dreams!
Cuddles up at sunset
From France to West Texas, the terracotta inspiration just won’t stop (and we like it that way!).
