Imagine your wedding day is an explosion of energy, colors and good vibes? Wow, does that sound amazing right now? Is there anyone else who is needed? This Italian elopement inspiration is a LITERAL party. The fixings include: dazzling decor, glitter, cute outfits, and festival vibes.
When Erica & Manu thought about this colorful inspiration, they had a party atmosphere and tons of tinsel in mind! We worked with wedding planner Lalla Crippa and put together the perfect crew for this unconventional wedding. The venue is the beautiful Borgo della Rocca in the Lombardy region of Italy. It dates back to the XII century and it really takes you back in time. We re-imagined it for a young and stylish couple and gave them a fun, colorful and modern vibe. The old brick walls meet a tinsel tent and dry, painted palm leaves for added fun!
We’ve got miles of style with these two. And whimsical wedding decorations with non-traditional pastels and glittering colors. Lose yourself in the glamor and festival mood. But find yourself back in this creative development in Italy. Erica & Manu took all the party photos!
Boho bride ready to Elope in Italy
Because of the patina, the old environment, the bride’s wavy boho dress just requires attention. The contrasting textures and time periods add extra interest! The Rara Avis Group designs this wedding dress.
Do you remember the color explosion we talked about ?! To illustrate the desired liveliness of this Italian elopement, La Fiorellaia created this bouquet mainly from dry palm leaves, colorful gypsophilia and pampas! The only fresh note is the beautiful and colorful anthurium.
Beach waves, gold, sparkling eye shadow and a bold pink lip complete this festival bridal look! Hair and make-up by Lina Pagano.
Italian elopement ceremony with a lot of tinsel
Certainly the tinsel gives this ceremony a moody and festive atmosphere. Dry, colored palm leaves + pampas shapes on pink rust, which are definitely an unexpected juxtaposition.
The rules of this colorful Italian elopement are: There are no conventional rules! Love, dance, smile, be your best self … and keep it glamorous at the same time. What more do you need Dinner under an Italian night sky? OK…
Toast to hell
At some point we come to the radical festival style of reception. But now we want to explore the beauty of a whimsical + minimal table landscape. Capricious with color + minimal with table details. All the magic that the love banquet put together.
The bridal hair, however. Save for later, save for later, save for later!
When the sun goes down, the twinkling lights come on thanks to Croval Service. Grab the glitter + gypsy style because this Italian elopement reception is all about festival vibe. The bride sparkles in her shiny tinsel jacket from It’s a Festival Ting. It really is a glitter makeup party for everyone!
Under the fairy lights is this colorful desert exhibition with a vegan cake from La Colazione di Sara. Streaks of paint and dry palm leaves should not be missing!
If you can’t party in Italy with these two, you can repeat that mood! Video by Erica & Manu.
