They knew it was coming: the Bridgerton wedding theme is there and it’s absolutely fabulous. Couples find inspiration in the oh-so-romantic story of a woman and her duke. From blooming gardens to blooming bodices, all of the drama and whimsy that defines Bridgerton is a breeze for wedding designs. How exactly has Bridgerton’s release played out so far for weddings? Here is Kari, designer at Always Yours Events and the visionary behind this perfect day inspired by modern reigns:
As wedding professionals, we see a whirlwind of Bridgerton-inspired requests. Draped greens and wisteria, old world stationery with quirky detailing, Regency-era-inspired accessories, and more colorful palettes. In this design we focused on the design of flowers, fashion, cakes and ceremonies, taking modern inspirations from Bridgerton.
The Hellenic Center in Ipswich, MA was the perfect replacement for the Bridgerton house, and Cody James Barry was there to hold it all in!
You are cordially invited
First of all, Daphne + the Duke would definitely hire Gus and Ruby Letterpress to design their wedding stationery – isn’t that perfection ?! Colorful paper with gold leaf and handmade paper edges, blind embossing, a custom coat of arms, cheeky formulations (a must) and a perfectly matching dance card rounded off the invitation suite.
I, Simon, take you, Daphne
It’s both too much and not enough !!
Our Daphne wore a stunning off shoulder Casablanca satin wedding dress by Bella Sera Bridal with earrings by Nicola Bathie, shoes by Bella Belle Shoes and a tiara by Eden Luxe. By the way, if you want to add a modern Regency style to your day, these Bridgerton wedding dresses are just the thing.
You may know that the Bridgerton ladies are far from boring. So these brightly colored, fluffy, perfectly exaggerated pastel dresses are on point. The statement dresses by Lavender and Lace Gowns were completed with Nicola Bathie jewelry and Eden Luxe tiara!
The Church of the Flowers
For the unique design of the ceremony, Karla Cassidy Designs created a flower-lined aisle and a wing arch that was entirely covered in flowers and greenery to emulate the shape of a chapel exterior.
The romance of it all!
Ladies in pastel perfection
And now to the ladies. Here for the Bridgerton Baby Blue!
Enter the noble steed
Of course, the Duke of Neer North’s white horse appeared.
The bride wore a handpicked array of flowers in shades of lavender, blush, peach, and light blue. Her bridal look from makeup by Sarah Lord channeled Daphne’s coveted natural glow. Meanwhile, Styles from Callie gave her a polished chignon updo.
The groom (we’ll call him the Duke) wore a sleek velvet black tuxedo jacket and a black bow tie with accessories by MK Benatti that completely channeled Bridgerton clothing.
A breathtaking floral table landscape for the reception
In designing the front desk, the team focused on creating a table landscape that incorporates the feel of the ubiquitous draping flowers that can be found throughout the show. From the exterior of the Bridgerton House to the decor found during the many extravagant events of the season.
The bedding was skipped completely because the Karla Cassidy Designs flower runner was all they needed! Refined Rentals’ statement table and tabletop were entirely covered in flowers and greens, tapered candles and gold-edged chargers. Gold cutlery, cut crystal stemware, and velvet napkins were punctuated by a historically correct, Regency-era-inspired menu by Gus and Ruby Letterpress.
It is said that Daphne and Simon will not be the last to find love. So of course we stop over here for ALL Bridgerton Weddings!
Sweets for the Duchess
Finally, the focus was on custom floral-print cakes from Renee’s talented Renee of Sweet Cheeks. Love and Flour’s sweets, strewn with painted macarons, were at home on vintage books on a green vanity.
And be sure to check out the wonderful film from Willow Tree Films!
It’s just so lush and we can’t get enough. Didn’t we tell you The best Bridgerton Wedding Inspo out there. Congratulations to the talented team that brought it all together!
