Guys those colors !! Fresh and modern purple and blush wedding tones never looked better. For Madi + Jordan, her wedding day at Greengate Ranch & Vineyard was about honoring her friends and family. Lovelyfest Events helped them plan a stunning event with tons of brightly colored hydrangeas honoring the bride’s heritage, disco balls, dazzling table decorations, twinkling fairy lights and a custom dessert wall made from cake cones. M shares more:
Our wedding day was a testament to our love for family and friends, relationships that we truly value. We wanted to make sure everyone was having a good time and that the daily routine allowed us to visit everyone. The look was modern summer elegance with a touch of disco. My family comes from the Portuguese Azores, which are best known for their kilometer-long, pillow-like, colorful hydrangeas. We wanted these to be the focus, but we added modern accents of neon and disco as compliments.
Jenna Routh Photography took the most beautiful pictures. Let’s take a look!

Bridesmaids in Shades of Purple
Who couldn’t love this range of mismatched bridesmaid dresses in lavender, lavender, lavender, and lavender. You know we are fans of the mismatched look, and if you are too, be sure to check out our tips on how to do it! M and her girls looked stunning thanks to the hair and makeup from The Queen’s Bees!
A big focal point of this wedding day were the modern floral designs from Idlewild Floral. We love it when the flowers have a special meaning. They freshened up classic hydrangeas by using vibrant colors alluding to M’s family home in Portugal.
J looked oh so good in The Black Tux clothes. That smile says it all!
A magical ceremony setting
Um … those flowers, people! We can’t even handle it!
M + J opted for an ombre effect for their modern white ceremonial bow.
The ceremony was very special. We were blessed that around 400 (!) Of our closest family members and friends from all over the country came to support us. My uncle, who knows us both individually and in twos, performed the ceremony. We wanted it to be informal yet from the heart and we felt he balanced that perfectly. Seeing Jordan get emotional as my bridesmaids walked down the aisle until we were announced and back up the aisle was something I will never forget either.
You did it!
So we needed to know more about this dress so we got M to share all the details:
I wore two dresses on my wedding day! I was wearing a beautiful A-line dress by Mira Zwillinger that I could wear to the ceremony during dinner. Then a quick outfit change to a lace dress above the knee that I found at Net-a-Porter with some Dior slingback heels to dance to. I was living in Dallas at the time and I had maybe three appointments at most, but only my first! My father and sisters had flown out of California to hopefully help me find my dress. It was special to include my father in this part of the process. It took a few times to narrow it down, but the leaf embroidery details on my veil that matched my dress sealed the deal. I felt very bridal, but very much at the same time.
Find a photographer who best suits your style! Whether your plans have changed or the details look a little different from what you imagined, you still have photos that capture the real feeling of a day worth documenting. Our photographer Jenna is amazing and was able to capture the day exactly as I remembered it. couldn’t narrow down true favorites. Super grateful to have these memories.
Iridescent meets blush wedding decor
M + J’s wedding had so many cool, custom rental setups. Check out this awesome cocktail stand! Looks delicious, doesn’t it?
Give us all unicorn mood !!
M + J dined with their guests under arches decorated with fairy lights. Tables were an eclectic but sleek combination of pink velvet and clear acrylic, and flowers were tall and low sculptural pieces.
There have been quite a few landlords called in to pull off this wedding look! All About Events provided the table decorations, Theoni Collection provided special rentals and Bella Vista Designs provided the lighting.
La Tavola Fine Rentals and Blush Fine Linens brought some really nice fabrics!
Other rentals came from Scout Rental Company, Got You Cover’d Rentals, and Major Event Trailers.
Give us ALL of the disco balls!
Processional: Otherside – Beyonce
Recession: Before I let go – Beyonce
First dance: So high – John legend
M + J had some great furniture for their reception room. We love this eclectic lounge from Avenue Twelve Rentals.
To round off the evening, the guests enjoyed this four-tier confection from Paper Cake Events!
Stylish and sparkling, this purple and blushing wedding anniversary is one for the books! Congratulations Madi + Jordan! The GWS team wishes you both all the best that married life can offer!
Do you love everything you saw above Just wait to see it in action with this cute movie from Steelhead Cinema!
