Woodland Romance: A tree house wedding in Maine

On the edge of the east coast forest there is a rustic place between the trees. Woods Maine is a luxury style tree house that immerses you in the crisp mountain air, pristine lakes, and vibrant, changing seasons. What do we think of when we see a romantic place like this? A tree house wedding – you know it!

Jessie from Jessie Felix Film + Photo and Taylor from Village Baking Co share their Covid-19 Pivot inspired intentions with this design: Our goal was to find a romantic and adventurous way to make our couples feel special when they are their size need to decrease big wedding. Of course, a tree house wedding in Maine came to mind! And in true Mainer style. Such a kidnapping offers couples a relaxing weekend to celebrate their love.

Given the pandemic forcing couples to change their thinking, we really enjoy exploring unconventional wedding venues. Unique Airbnbs and romantic tree houses for weddings are two of the many good examples of this. Adventure lovers, we speak to you in particular! Surrounded by lush forests, these two exchange vows on a romantic tree house staircase. Pure magic, with a jump off the pier to seal the deal!

Bounty O ‘Blooms transforms the tree house into a magical oasis. Wrapping and unwinding greens and vines on the stairs instantly creates romance. To illustrate the alchemy of the forest, Maine hops and other flowers adorn the stairs. Create a nice place to exchange vows!

Let’s all say hello to this forest, Queen of the Bride! A gorgeous tiara, bouquet, and flower tattoo crawling over the bride’s arm only add to the mood and romance of the forest. A treehouse wedding is the perfect setting for these blooms.

LL Bean is headquartered in Maine, so it’s no surprise this groom is rocking this head to toe! We love the suspenders + elongated boutonnière.

Some of our favorite weekend memories are hiking to the lake, enjoying the fresh air, and cooking meals together. It was such a relaxed weekend and we loved getting married for an entire weekend as opposed to just one day. Lots of time to relax and really enjoy the moment together. There was no stress or worry about how perfect everything had to be. It felt like we were literally on our honeymoon and just enjoying the time together.

The signature of Kate’s Calligraphy undoubtedly adds feminine personality and romance to these details.

Our best advice is to make the day or weekend a non-to-do list. Go with the flow, enjoy your time together and with loved ones. Weddings have changed so drastically because of the current pandemic. The slowdown in life has really put things into perspective. You will find more of what you value in life and, most importantly, you will have more time to spend with your partner. Be different from everyone else and ELOPE. It is such a nice experience.

If a treehouse wedding doesn’t end with a pier jump into the lake, did it even happen? Bride + Groom cheer for Maine Beer Company and Sebago Brewing Company beers as they swim in the water. What a great emphasis on properties of Maine + the ease of an intimate wedding or kidnapping.
